What’s new in Finds

Every update to the app and the browser extensions, newest first. The extension is now at version 1.0.4.

LaunchExtension 1.0.4

Finds is on Firefox

The extension is now listed on Firefox Add-ons, next to Chrome and Edge. It’s the same account and the same library on every browser.

  • One-click saving from the toolbar, the right-click menu or ⌘⇧S.
  • The Firefox sidebar keeps your library beside the page you’re reading.
  • Google sign-in works from Firefox too.
  • Tips by email in your first weeks, with one-click unsubscribe.
PlansExtension 1.0.4

Clearer Free and Pro plans

Free keeps unlimited finds and adds clear limits on folders and public links. Pro removes the limits and adds the AI tools.

  • Free: unlimited finds, 15 folders and 3 public share links.
  • Pro: unlimited folders and public links, email reminders for Read later, AI tag suggestions, summaries and Tidy up.
  • Pro starts with a 14-day trial, with no card needed.
FeatureExtension 1.0.2 and 1.0.3

Mini Finds and the side panel

The extension now carries your whole library, so you can find something without leaving the page you’re on.

  • Mini Finds in the popup: search, open, move and delete finds right from the toolbar.
  • Side panel in Chrome and Edge keeps Finds open beside the page.
  • Save saves straight away. The arrow next to it opens the full form with folders, tags and a note.
  • Select several finds in the popup to move or delete them together.
FeatureExtension 1.0.1

Edge, a saved check and a new welcome

Finds arrived on Microsoft Edge, and a few small things make saving calmer.

  • Microsoft Edge Add-ons: the full extension, from the Microsoft store.
  • A check on the toolbar icon when the page you’re on is already in Finds.
  • New welcome: import from your browser or a file, or pick the kind of work you do and get starter folders to match.
  • Cleaner addresses in the app, like app.usefinds.com/later.
Feature

Reminders and smart filters

Read later can now nudge you, and your library sorts itself by kind.

  • Read later reminders by email, at a time you choose.
  • Smart filters for Articles, Videos, Socials and Documents, filled in automatically.
  • Select several finds to add them to a folder, move them, copy their links or send them to Trash.
  • Long-press opens menus on phones and tablets. Sign-in and the library load faster.
Pro

Finds Pro: AI that keeps you tidy

The first Pro tools, built to help you find things again rather than save more.

  • Tag suggestions for each page, one tap to add.
  • Summaries in a line, shown on the card instead of the page’s own blurb.
  • Search by meaning: look for “calm pricing pages” and find them, whatever their titles say.
  • Saved copies of pages to read later, even if the site changes.
  • Tidy up Unsorted: suggested folders for everything you haven’t sorted yet.
LaunchExtension 1.0.0

Finds 1.0 on the Chrome Web Store

The first public version of the extension, with the library app behind it.

  • Import from Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge, or from Raindrop and Pocket.
  • Sharing: a public page for any folder, or invite people by email.
  • Read later, weekly checks for broken links, and a 60-day Trash.
  • Save from your phone by adding Finds to your Home Screen.
  • Two-factor sign-in with an authenticator app and backup codes.
Accounts

Accounts and sync

Your library now lives in your account, so it’s the same on every computer and phone.

  • Sign in with Google or with an email and password.
  • Changes sync in the background across your devices.
  • Cards can open the site in a new tab or a preview inside Finds.
Beta

The first version

A Chrome extension that saves the page you’re on, and a library that shows every link with its real cover, sorted into folders.
